Indonesia is like Palestine
In Indonesia, "there are many poor people who are having their homes and fields taken away from them, so that golf courses and shopping malls and luxury houses can be built for the rich and powerful.
"High walls are being built between the rich and the poor.
"It is like Palestine-Israel : high walls separate the people with power from the people without power."
Walls divide rich and poor - both in Indonesia and in Palestine-Israel
In Indonesia, "the head of the government Family Planning agency (KB) admits that his agency has failed to reach most of the poor people (Jakarta Post 21 June 2008).
"It is not just in Jakarta that land is being taken from poor people.
"Data from the government shows that less than 1% of people in Indonesia pay direct taxes. When the government gets tax money, some of it is stolen by government people."
